Design Process
We have 5 simple phases(steps) to help you start your design project.
The phases of the design process are as follows:
Phase 1:
Inquiry/Design Consultation: The client and designer will schedule a date and time for a design consultation to discuss the goals and vision for the space.
Phase 2:
Consultation Follow-Up/ Design Agreement: The designer follows up on items discussed during consultations and provides the design quote to complete the services desired. *Quote provided does not include furnishing, decor items, and contractors for the installation.
Phase 3:
Contractual Agreement/Project Design Funding: Once the terms and quote have been agreed upon, the client will sign a contract and pay 50% of the designer fee. The client will then provide funding to allow the designer to begin work on the project.
Phase 4:
Designer Board+ Furnishing Order Form: The designer will create a design board for the client to review. Upon the client's review, necessary revisions, and final approval, the designer will provide the client with an order form to begin placing orders on items. Physical shopping days might occur during this phase.
Phase 5: (Not included in E-DESIGN projects)
Install Day: The designer will arrive on the date and time it was agreed upon to complete the installation of the project. "*Final designer fee payment is due 48hrs before the installation date.
